The Quicksilver engine and drive flushing kit features an integral garden hose attaching coupler, allowing for easy connection to a fresh water source. Constructed with durable rubber, stainless steel, and plastic parts, the kit is designed to resist corrosion for long-lasting, efficient service. This semi-universal flushing kit is an essential and easy-to-use tool for protecting your engine and drive from the harmful effects of galvanic corrosion, particularly in salt, brackish water, or areas with invasive plant species that require flushing before departing a launch ramp.
The Quicksilver flushing kit is compatible with a wide range of outboards and sterndrives, including 20hp and higher 2-cycle Mercury and Mariner outboards, 9.9hp through 15hp 4-stroke Mercury BigFoot outboards, 2005 and newer 8-15hp 4-stroke outboards, all MerCruiser sterndrives (except Bravo One Performance and BlackHawk drives), and Mercury High Performance Torque Master gear cases.
Please note that all 2000 and newer V6 outboards and MerCruiser Bravo Drives with dual water pick-ups also require the Dual Water Pick-Up Flush Seal Kit 881150Q1. This additional kit ensures proper flushing of these specific engine configurations.
